WP piston pumps are used in wine-making industry for the transfer of wine, must, wine raw materials, and derivatives. Normally they are connected to flexible hoses adapted to suction and impulsion works, as these pumps are reversible by manually moving the switch-over valve situated at the front part
Principio de funcionamiento
It is a bi-cylindrical positive displacement pump of dual-effect. There are two cycles in the hydraulic system of theses pumps:
- Suction cycle: during this cycle the piston draws back in the cylinder creating a low pressure zone, the pressure at the surface of the fluid causes the opening of the suction valve and , thus, letting the fluid into the cylinder chamber.
- Compression cycle: during this stage, the piston advances in the cylinder reducing the volume of the cylinder making the fluid open the compression valve and flow out by the pipe

Number of cycles of piston is reduced and absolutely symmetrical, minimum wearing off.
Scotch Yoke system: minimum number of moving parts, maximum mechanical efficiency and a more balanced system - no connecting rods to the crankshaft.

Pulsation dampeners with separating membrane pressure sensor.
Two speed motor gear drive 3 ph 400 V. 50 Hz, IP-55.
Valve reversing the flow direction.
