SOLIDMIX SOLID-LIQUID MIXING EQUIPMENT

Application

This equipment provides an ideal solution for dissolution of solids (in large quantities) in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly for preparation or pre-dissolution of syrups.
This application consists in dissolution of sugar and an active ingredient in demineralised water.
The process is usually performed at high temperature to optimise the solubility of solids.

Operating principle

This dissolution system operates in recirculation. The product is recirculated in a tank while solids are manually
or automatically added through the hopper of the blender.

Depending on the product viscosity and installation pressure losses, the equipment can be provided with auxiliary suction and discharge pumps (centrifugal or positive displacement).

Options

Possible work with two or more tanks by means of a valve manifold.
Heat exchangers. 
Auxiliary suction and discharge pumps.
Various levels of automation: electrical box, control panel, PLC to program recipes, etc.
Automation: pneumatic valves with control tops, level sensors for hopper (minimum and maximum), hopper vibrator, automatic powder metering.
