I filtri hanno una ampia gamma di applicazioni nell’industria alimentare, cosmetica, alcune industrie chimiche e nei servizi ausiliari dell'industria farmaceutica.
Sono di disegno sanitario e si utilizzano per filtrare particelle che possano danneggiare pompe o altri impianti.

Principio di funzionamento
Il filtro consiste basicamente in un corpo con una entrata ed una uscita del prodotto.
Dentro al corpo viene fissato il setaccio che trattiene tutte le particelle che abbiano una grandezza superiore o uguale al passaggio della maglia.
Progetto e caratteristiche
Esistono distinte configurazioni:
- Lavaggio del setaccio senza smontare il filtro:
Filtro a squadra (82700): l’entrata e l’uscita del prodotto formano un angolo retto.
Filtro retto corto (83700): l’entrata e l’uscita del prodotto sono nella stessa direzione.
- Lavaggio del setaccio smontando il filtro:
Filtro retto (81700): l’entrata e l’uscita del prodotto sono nella stessa direzione.
Bassa perdita di carico.
Connessioni standard in DIN 11850.
Setaccio con foro circolare (Ø 0,5 mm a Ø 5 mm) o foro longitudinale (10 x 1 mm).
