Why INOXPA? Why INOXPA?

CINFA entrusted INOXPA because of their experience in successfully developing solutions for Spanish pharmaceutical industry customers.

INOXPA solution INOXPA solution

INOXPA designed a line to fit Cinfa’s needs containing latest technology features.

The line comprised a 4000 litre reactor for final batch preparation, a 400 litre reactor for pre-mixes, and a CIP type cleaning system which, along with a SCADA control system based on manufacturing and cleaning recipes, increased the level of automation in the cleaning processes.

The new line’s main feature is the 4000 litre reactor, which enhances the emulsion and homogeneity of solid and liquid components through suitable agitation technology.

The cleaning process was improved by using a dedicated CIP unit for the line cleaning. To comply with the latest cleaning requirements, instrumentation (conductivity, temperate, flow rate, pH...) is used to control the flow of rinsing water and different cleaning solutions.

The control system records every phase and operation undertaken during the production process of oral consumption liquids and during the cleaning processes for the equipment and pipework. It also provides records in accordance with CFR 21 part 11.

Installation characteristics Installation characteristics

The new line reduces any potential errors to a minimum through the automatic process. It is effective at manufacturing liquids through correctly homogenising the manufactured batches and reduces wastage by managing to package complete batches. Cleaning processes also take place.

INOXPA installed the new line in Cinfa’s installations in accordance with good pharmaceutical industry practices. The competent body, the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices, validated the line, certifying the inspection, along with compliance of safety regulations during its manufacture.

The new INOXPA equipment is a clear indication of Cinfa’s investment in technology and improvement of their manufacturing processes. Their ongoing and resolute efforts have helped them become the most commonly found pharmaceutical company brand in Spanish households.
