The Bollati family founded the Davines Group in Parma, Italy in 1983.

They initially carried out research and development into high quality hair care products for major cosmetic companies around the world.

They went on to produce and market their own brand of professional cosmetic products for beauty and spa facilities, becoming one of the world leaders in the field and most importantly obtained “B Corp” certification for the company.

Project Project

Special features Special features

.The MCR production equipment can manufacture products with up to 150000 cP viscosity.

.Time savings are obtained, as the melting unit can melt the solid grease content for the next batch, while the reactor is manufacturing the previous batch. The equipment also uses high efficiency jackets that enable much faster heating and cooling than traditional systems, using much less water and energy.

.The installation is self-cleaning using the integrated automatic CIP function.

.Product dosing occurs by vacuum and using load cells.

.It is connected to the customer’s raw material loops for automatic ingredient loading, via automated weight control.

.The equipment can be sterilised using steam prior to each production.

.The stock tanks and the delivery line to the filling machine can be loaded, unloaded, and cleaned simultaneously as a mixproof valve manifold was fitted.

.The SILPIG system can recover any residual product once pumping from the stock tanks to the packaging machine is complete.

.The installation is fully automatic and includes a S7 CPU, 2 HMIs, and a VPN for remote control and maintenance. Minimal human intervention is required for production.

.It connects directly to the client management server in accordance with Industry 4.0 requirements.
