The customer needed to increase their production capacity due to strong worldwide demand. The company needs new sterilising equipment in order to increase their production and meet the growing demand.

INOXPA solution
Skid mounted tubular steriliser for coffee extract, with a heat regeneration stage and pressure control between stages. A 300 litre BTD tank and rotary lobe pumps.
Installation characteristics
The heat exchangers are thermally insulated.
The skid is designed to work with a variable flow within the range requested by the customer. This involved selecting every component and exchanger with sufficient margin for this requirement.
Fully automatic with recipes, with PLC, HMI and Allen Bradley variable-frequency drives.
The output and return line is considered part of the skid, meaning it is cleaned and sterilised along with the equipment.
Special features
- Heat regeneration is a very important aspect for reducing operating costs as well as for the environment. The thermal insulation installed on the equipment is also beneficial in this respect.
- The skid mounted design makes it easier to move and install.
- The automation enables efficient production and reduces repetitive manual tasks, with a view to worker safety and keeping potential human error to a minimum.
