Installation characteristics
The project included the installation of two key skids:
Viscomix 1000L skid:
- Capacity to process at different speeds and temperatures.
- Hygienic stainless steel design with easy access for cleaning.
- Steam heating and water cooling system, optimising production times.
- Pre-mixing for final production in the MCR 2000L reactor.
MCR 2000L reactor:
- Counter-rotating agitation system ensures homogeneous mixtures.
- Double multi-stage heating jacket enables precise temperature control.
- Automation with PLC and a HMI screen, for monitoring and process control.
